TODA
Hello all, I have a sti grandmaster and I would like to change the grip. I have removed all I can but I can't find how to remove the mainspring. I have tried to push the little pin which is blocking the mainspring on the top, but it's blocked by the leaf spring (and I don't know how to remove the leaf spring). I've also looked for removing the magwell but can't find the way. Can anyone help me ?
XRe
The mainspring housing (and probably the magwell, too) is held in via a pin at the bottom, rear corner of the gun. Drive that pin out with a punch, and the mainspring housing will slide out the bottom of the gun (and the magwell will come off, too). The little pin you see in the back of the MSH retains the mainspring cap. It won't come out without the MSH being out of the gun in the first place. sfinney
I think more importantly you might need help putting it back together - the flat sear spring has to go back in just so..... have at it , gotta learn some how
TODA
I hesitate to push the pin on the magwell. Now I know it's the good way. Thank you for the help

TODA
I learned a lot from that post http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=7357&hl= Now my gun is ready with its new bedell grip (more comfortable, it's easier to aim fast) My next training will be a great pleasure
