cbipsc
Hi Forum, I`m an IPSC shooter from austria and have a question: what gun is a P9 or P18 or P16 (type of gun, manufacturer, ..) From time to time I recognize some regards to these guns but I have no idea what guns this should be (to my shame). Please give me some informations about, maybe links to websides, pics or other descriptions. Many thank`s for your answers DVC cbipsc
XRe
P9 - a Springfield Armory version of the CZ-75 style pistol (no longer made/marketed under that name by SA). It's become a sort of "Winnebago" term for all of the CZ variants, at least for Open class versions of them. CZ and Tanfoglio make these, now, and EAA imports the Tanfoglios at this point. Nice guns. P16 and P18s would be Para Ordnance hi-cap 1911 style pistols. The P16 is .40 and the P18 is 9mm - if I've got it right. Depending on magazine lenght and followers they will hold a lot more rounds than 16 for .40 cal (~21 in 140 mags) and 18 for 9mm (~23 in 140 mags).
