Maxim defense bolt carrier

Anyone using one? Are they a good option? Google search shows a lot of people using their stocks and braces, not a whole lot on their Bolts.

I picked one up from optics planet, Black Friday. 95$. Looks like they’re still priced ~100$. Cycled some rounds through by hand, in a Glock QC10 upper, lower and barrel. Works fine. Will test some live fire this week. My plan for it is a backup BCG. If it works, 100$ is legit.

I've put 500 rounds through mine now. Seems to cycle well and no issues with accuracy. I have had a lot of cycling issues that are due to the magazine, ETS 33 and 20 rounders. I dont think it's due to the bolt though. 

 

It comes as a full unit and there is a weight plug in the back that it held in place by an o-ring so you can easily just push it out the back. Construction seems solid. I'll let you know more after I put 100 rounds through it later this week exclusively with glock brand mags.

 

I've include to a link of a video of it in action and also a strange malfunction that I had that again the bolt shouldn't have anything to do with.
