Yes, as long as you're working within the same FCU frame size. Meaning any parts that fit the small-frame FCU (calibers 9mm, 40S&W, and 357SIG) are compatible with any other parts meant for the small-frame FCU (9/40/357). Examples; any standard small-frame grip module is compatible with the X-Series FCU and X-Series slide assemblies, and vice versa.

 

Similarly, any parts compatible with the large-frame FCU (45ACP) are compatible with all other parts for the large-frame FCU.

 

There are even some reports that small-frame grip modules, slide assemblies, and magazines are compatible with the large-frame FCU specifically, though it may defeat certain safety features of the system. I cannot independently verify this claim though - attempt at your own risk.
