MHicks
Our local monthly match use to have around 5 in SS and 5 in L10. The top SS shooter does more 3 gun now and is shooting somethin else. I would see someone with a 1911 hoping for another SS shooter, but then notice their 10 round mags. Last weekend there were 9 or 10 L10 and me by myself in SS. I might shoot L10 next month unless I see more in SS.

My rule has always been keep any serviceable part you remove from a firearm. You can always sell it or give it away later. You never know when you will need it again. I do have the parts. I always keep anything I replace in case something breaks. I was more or less making a joke about justifying new parts instead of purchasing a new gun.
