Shepard
Awhile back there was a thread in reference to airsoft practice and setting up a timer with multiple audio pickups so that the shooter could record hits on multiple metal targets. I can’t find the thread now and am wondering if I just imagined it. Anyway, could someone point me back to that thread or tell me how I could set up a timer to do this. My goal is to setup a version of the TGO transition drill in my basement and use airsoft to practice it. I could just measure the last shot but I lose count how many times I’ve hit the plates :-P
EricW
Shepard, Let me dig through my email a bit. I was chatting with a guy who was doing exactly what you're talking about. If I find his address, I'll send it to you. I *think* the trick is to bond a cheap microphones to the plates (Aluminum?) and run them in parallel to your timer (CED's are designed for this - not sure about PACT). EricW
Try contacting Charles Kemper at: doors@gte.net He's been developing a system and probably has it working good by now.
