canadienseloco
On a shadow 2 is the trigger pin one time use or can it be reinstalled and re staked? Also; I am seeing some wear on the slide stop pin where it interfaces with the barrel (i have about 2500 rounds through the gun). Is it normal to see wear in that area? Should i be using some sort of grease on the slide stop pin instead of oil?
adamge
Definitely normal to see finish wear on the slide stop in a CZ 75 or TS pistol. I use gun oil inside the barrel kidney. But I think eventually, no matter what loads you run or your lubrication procedure, you will break a slide stop pin. It seems to be a normal wear failure point on this design. rowdyb
yes the trigger pin is reusable. yes the wear you see on the slide stop is normal. yes some lubricant there is fine.
factorof2
This is one of the best things you can do for your trigger I think: https://cajungunworks.com/product/tr-pin-cgws-exclusive-floating-trigger-pin/ even comes with a slave pin to make replacing the trigger on reassembly much easier.
