EricW
For some people, a vacation is going to Hawaii. For me, it's building stuff. I'm a project person. The bad news is that my projects tend to snowball out of control... I just got done rebuilding my (donated by my dear Uncle Bill) plate rack. It now weighs 400+ lbs w/o the stand. Horsing that sucker in and out of the truck is a chore for even two strong guys. So, I figured this job called for a trailer... Let's just say it's a real good thing my truck has a 454, because by the time I get done, I'm pretty sure I'll need about 453 of those cubes to make it up the hill home. But boy will it be nice to to be able to just park the trailer at the back of the bay and start blasting.
Heath
I'm in the process of building a trailer myself. I've over-engineered it because I wanted to avoid a bunch of complicated math, but it still only weighs 1500# with the running gear.
kimel
Don't forget the armor plate for the trailer tires. Or lots of spares.
