Chris777
Hi Everyone, I am about to order a 1050 setup to reload 9mm. I have 2 Hornady LNL presses that will stay dedicated to loading 223 and 45ACP. I want to be able to use the 1050 to deprime and swage my 223 brass. I don't think I need to buy a full caliber conversion kit, but am not sure. I called Dillon and they wanted me to buy the entire 223 conversion kit. All I really want to do is run the 223 brass thru the case feeder, use my Lee cap die and the 1050 to swage the crimped primer. Anyone know what extra parts I would need? - Shellplate? - Swage backup rod? - case feeder parts (small rifle plate and ?) Thanks...
oteroman
Listen to Dillon. Order the 223 convervion. If you want to feed 223 from the casefeeder get the conversion. The only part you do not need is the 223 powder drop.
