jnshapiro
Looks like it might be wet for the Steel match this coming Sunday. How is my CMore going to hold up to getting wet? Any trouble? Thanks.
ong45
Hard to shoot with a wet lens, wipe down before you go to the line and you should be fine. A bit of water ( not a downpour) won't hurt the unit James
.40AET
C-more cover I have also seen a little cover that slides over the whole scope. Hopefully they will have portable tents to stand under at the match.
Newbie
What is the difference between the C-More Lens Cover and the C-More Hood? http://www.arredondoaccessories.com/A_scope.cfm
.40AET
The lense cover goes over the glass. The hood cover goes over the dot module and is supposed to cut down on glare when in the sun.
jnshapiro
Thanks folks. It's on my .22 and the gun will be bagged between runs so I don't expect it to get wet except when it's my turn to shoot. Hopefully we won't see the projected wet, it often passes over the valley and we stay dry. Find out on Sunday. James, will I see you for Steel? jnshapiro
Some of us are. Hey, you remember that 15yo kid that came in 2nd last month and won .22 (Steven Rubert)? He won the SASS World Championship (End of Trail) this past weekend! He's now the overall World Champ. First time it's been won by a junior. See ya then, and make sure that Eric comes. I'd like to meet him. Doc
