JKW Posted June 4, 2016 Share Posted June 4, 2016 Is it as simple as a barrel and magazine swap? I've found myself in the possession of two Tactical Sports in 9mm. I'd planned to complete a grip reduction and refinish of the second one (my first one is already done) and sell off the one I like the least. But now I'm thinking I might need a .40 TS to possibly start using in some local USPSA matches. Wonder if the conversion is the better way to go over buying a new gun? kneelingatlas Posted June 4, 2016 Share Posted June 4, 2016 The 9mm breech face is too small for 40, so you need a 40 slide as well. Stuart Wong of CZ Custom can probably locate one for you if you want to go that route, but I would just trade your stock 9 for a 40. You could also try shooting a few matches with one of the 9s in Limited minor, you never know, you might decide you want to build one of your 9s into a custom 9 major Open gun Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
