GunCat
Anyone recognizes these items that were included in a collection of gunsmith tools I recently purchased? Tapered cone slides on the rod. Marked 3 & 6 degree, 2 & 4 degree.
ltdmstr
I would say they're home-made and probably used to clean or lap forcing cones or barrel throats. The handles look like a Lewis lead remover.
GunCat
The larger 2 of the 3 look to be reamer handles. The smallest does not fit the trend, looks as though it can accept some other type of pilot with a retaining clip. Maybe the cone does not belong on the smaller shaft. The larger 2 have a cross screw to keep the cone from sliding off, the smaller does not. Given I found these in the same tool box as some chambers reamers helps tie it all together.
