xagent
I have a Stag arms upper with a 18" barrel, rifle length gas tube, good compensator, JP adjustable gas block, carbine buffer, and JP buffer spring. When I put the new light weight steel BCG in it and adjust the gas block will I need to change out the buffer and maybe add a titanium firing pin? Does anybody have a similar setup and have any suggestions for reliability in 3-gun.
powerx4
You dont need to change the buffer but you can it will help on follow up shots. You could strip the weights out of your factory buffer and run it at approx 1.9 oz no need for titanium buffer just dial in your gas block to the ammo you are going to compete with. TonytheTiger
Sent you a PM. I forget to mention in it that when I went to the Taccom buffer/spring I immediately got all kinds of slamfires and a Ti pin eliminated it. Seems like most people don't have this problem but I did. Like powerx4 said, adjusting gas will help you get the most out of it.
