BeerBaron Posted July 11, 2016 Share Posted July 11, 2016 agreed. the only reason I mentioned it as in the DAA videos it's one of the first things they suggest when suffering from the dropper tie with upward tension on it. as I pointed out is the absolute last resort after you've tried everything else (re positioning collator further forward, rubber band to toolhead, rubber band to powder measure or support, yeah or buy the longer spring and cut to suit).
