Flexmoney
I don't think that ISMI has developed any QC problems. If you are having any issues, give them a call. Everybody that I know that has talked with ISMI has come away from the conversation with new-found knowledge.
SRT Driver
Thanks for the tips. I shot using the stock spring and rod today and my gun runs fine. I think I'll stop worrying about springs and focus on technique. My gun shoots a lot better than I do in any case. If you have any doubt, pull the end off the stock guide rod and put the stock spring on the new guide rod and see how that works. At least, you'll get the benefit of the guide rod. Duane Thomas
If you have any doubt, pull the end off the stock guide rod and put the stock spring on the new guide rod and see how that works. That's what I've done, primarily because in IDPA you can't have a guide rod made of a different material than factory stock. It works great.
