not30
Is there any way to increase the volume on the powder check and primer alarm buzzers on my 650.? I was in the us navy air wing and was exposed to a lot of jet noise in nam. Most of my hi frequency hearing is gone and it is very hard to hear the alarms...... I need them to be either louder or a lower frequency. any help or suggestions would be very welcome Thank You.......Clarky
icestud
I think jmorris had the suggestion one time to wire a light to it so it would flash. Matt
Tom S.
You probably won't like my answer, but have you considered getting hearing aids? Mine not only let me hear the buzzer, I can hear birds again, paper crinkling, all kinds of things I wasn't hearing and now can.
StealthyBlagga
Electronic muffs turned way up might help too.
victorcharlie
I'm another happy hearing aid user. It's life changing. If you can afford them then do yourself a favor and regain one of your 5 senses.
hwevers
If you are a vet, the VA will supply hearing aids. You have to apply and be tested. You probably have tinnitus as well. No test for this. I also wish there was a better/louder/lower frequency buzzer on the powder check. I turned mine around after drilling a hole in the case, and had a friend wire in a small bulb. I can hear the low primer buzzer just fine. Regards, Howard

NFLcavediver
Yeah the VA, a good friend just got them, I was in Naval Aviation also. I'll be contacting them soon.
