I don't see it offered anymore. I think the advantage to the anodized version is that it would minimize surface corrosion. SouperMan Posted March 6, 2016 Share Posted March 6, 2016 I got one of the non-anodized ones and a friend of mine got the black anodized one so I have both to compare. Personally, the black anodized looks asthetically pleasing but according to the Shockbottle website the raw aluminum version is said to be of a tighter tolerance.
