Before you reload a bunch of rounds. Run a half dozen cases through the sizing and case flaring station without priming any.

Now when your reloading and find a .380 instead of a 9MM or bad round, Small primer pocket 45 ACP, military crimp etc. You can place one of your prepped cases in the shellplate and not screw up the primer indexing system.

Take you spent primer tube off and drill a hole where the set screw marks it. Replace the tube and adjust the set screw so it holds the tube in place, but does not block the tube.

Now your tube won't fall out while your reloading and the tube won't get crushed and block primers.

A length of weed trimmer line works well for unclogging the tube. I have chucked it in a drill to really clean the spent primer tube.

If you have a primer issue with a strip. Mark it. If it happens again and it has your mark on it. Toss it.
