Wormie
I recently purchased the Glockstore extended aluminum mag catch for my G34 in hopes that I won't have to break my grip to drop the magazine. I've tried the Vickers tactical but found that I would still have to break my grip to access it due to the size of my hands (although it was an improvement over factory). The glockstore mag catch did the job perfectly and I love it functionally. However, after half an hour of dry fire, a portion of my palm that would hit the mag catch was skinned and raw. Indexing properly and locking my wrist kept rubbing against this part of my palm. Any solutions? Light filing didn't do the trick so I was thinking something with cushion. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to form callouses in this spot if I keep peeling it raw. http://www.glockstore.com/extended-aluminum-mag-catch-for-glock Edit: Link Edited January 5, 2016 by Wormie
RePete
I can't help you with your problem other than try wearing gloves, but be careful with a metal mag release and the Glock plastic mag, it will wear the notch.
