jchris4769
So I installed a Benelli M2 lifter in my Stoeger 2000 today. Dropped right in, no issues with fit. Only issue is when dry firing I noticed that when I pull the trigger it drops a shell onto the lifter as if I pushed the button. Then I cycle the bolt no problem, chambers next round and so on. Seems to function normally otherwise. Should I be worried about this?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
hartofthethumb
Not sure I understand the problem. Pulling the trigger should drop a shell onto the lifter getting it ready to chamber as the gun cycles...
jchris4769
During dry fire ? Did not do that with factory lifter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
hartofthethumb
Trigger mechanism doesn't know if it's a dry fire or not... If there are shells in the tube, one should drop when you press the trigger, in preparation to be chambered.
jchris4769
Sounds good, that is what I was thinking. Will check out in live fire.
