claycrusher
I currently own a STI Edge 9mm and absolutely love it! It's a wee bit large to be used for ccw work however, so I am considering buying a Total Eclipse or V.I.P. Of course they don't make either any more so it would have to be used or new old stock. However, the only mag lengths I see listed on STI's website arw 120 mm and up. I believe the flush fitting ones on my Edge are the 126mm, does that mean that the Eclipse and VIP grips are only 6 mm shorter than full length? Of course I could be missing something too lol. Thanks! Edited July 18, 2015 by claycrusher
racknrider
120s fit flush in the VIP. Of course all longer mags will work. Shooters Connection has some VIPs but I think they're 40s.

claycrusher
Are the Eclipse and VIP grips the same length? 1/4" doesn't sound like much shorter then full size, but it would help some for carrying
claycrusher
Ok, FINALLY found a listing for a Eclipse that mentioned the mags being 105mm. That makes much more sense for a sub compact kind of pistol. Now to find a 9mm one... Thanks for the help!
Quack
The Tac 4.15 on the bottom had a regular (full size) grip chopped down to use 120mm mags. The VIP grip is just a full size grip chopped down, the MSH pin hole relocated and a shorter MSH
