Stician
What's required to convert a 40SW Limited Pro to 9mm? Or a 9mm Stock II to 40SW? I won a new S2 last night on GB for a reasonable $1225+3% and have a pair of Limited Pros in 40SW already Xtremed. It has been a long long hunt to find a Stock II 9mm near msrp (after letting go 40SW versions a year ago before that market lifted to unobtainable, to being late to multiple online vendors, to a Hawktech wait list, and passing the urge to lift many $2000 Xtremed guns). Now I got the kill the post-mortem anticlimactic effect sets in my reality. Not surprising since the two variants are so closely related. EAA has a conversion upper kit. So is it safe to say the lower with the sear cage integrated ejection pin is universal among 9mm and 40SW? Maybe someone should just buy the Stock II from me and save me the headaches of deciding 40 minor vs 9mm, conventional rifling vs polygonal, long dust cover vs short. I haven't started in Production yet. Still chasing M card dream in Limited at 80%. Edited July 8, 2015 by Stician
kneelingatlas
You can go 40 to 9 with barrel/mags, 9 to 40 needs new upper, neither are Production legal. Sear cage is the same.
Stician
How can one tell by looking at it? Unlike Glocks the serial # isn't stamped everywhere. Maybe I'm wrong?
kneelingatlas
If you know what you're looking for there's no import marks on conversion slides.
