Need Large Grip for 629

Hi,

I am looking for a large rubber grip for my 629 Classic DX.

I have large hands and long fingers so the "standard"-hogues are way to small.

Which maufacturer/model would you recommend?

Hi Peter, I have the same problem. Everything is too small for my rediculously large hands I created my own grip the way Saul Kirsch does (with epoxy). Not pretty, but very effective. But if you want a grip you can show to your friends without them lauging at you, I suggest the Pachmayr rubber grips. They're bigger and longer from front strap to back strap than others.

The late Bill Jordan had a simlar problem He desinged a grip that looks loke a fat set og Mivklick grips. As I rember they were called the Jordan Trooper. I don't rember who made them but I know several people who swear by them.

A friend of mine told me that he uses grips from the french manufacturer "Trausch" on his manurhin revolver. The grips look quite ugly but seem to work great especially for large hands.

Another possibility:

The special Hogues sold on the S&W website for that ridiculously huge .500 Magnum gun they make actually fit nicely on the regular N-frame RB guns, and they have rubber behind the backstrap.
