rbebeau
I am the captain of the Florida State University Pistol Team. We shoot 92s in competitions and last year bought (for way too much) a 22 conversion kit. The mag that came with it isn't very reliable. Now that the kits are back in production I wanted to know if it was worth buying mags at $40 a piece. Is there another option that will work? I found this online http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/7-M92210 I know the guns went boom but do the mags work? Will they fit into a real Beretta? As a side note: Can anyone tell me how long these conversions are good for? We have 8 shooters on the team every semester should I pick up another conversion or just change out parts as need me? NuJudge
I bought two conversion kits from Beretta USA's website late last year. No problems with them or the spare magazines. Lots of people are immediately skeptical about CTD.
xotech
What ammo are you using? I've found CCI 40GR Mini-Mags to be very reliable. If you have already determined that it is really the mag, you should be able to send it back to Beretta for warranty replacement. I've never used the Chiappa mags, so can't recomend them or CTD for that matter. You could also post your question over here too: http://berettaforum.net/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=
rbebeau
We have run every kind of .22 though that I can think of. If you only put 7 rounds in the mag it works fine. But the first 3 don't line up with the chamber.
