Yes, you can definitely use a Brigadier slide. However, you might be better off buying a new or used Brigadier and selling your old 92fs, unless it has some sentimental value to you. It all depends on what you have to pay for a used Brigadier slide, which may or may not have night sights already.

Here's how to change out your D spring and trigger. Not sure how much difference this steel trigger would make though. You could put in a short reach trigger from Wilson Combat if you have smaller hands or shorter fingers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5zncTNsXUM

What ammo are you using? I've found CCI 40GR Mini-Mags to be very reliable. If you have already determined that it is really the mag, you should be able to send it back to Beretta for warranty replacement.
