Andis2068
I'm brand new to reloading and want to make major with a 230gr 45acp coated round nose bullet from Black Bullets International. I made a list of powders that I could use, from reading a previous topic about "not being able to find Clays". I've only been able to find two powders off of that list, WST and e3. I know that e3 is supposed to be a lot like Clays, but I can't find a recipe for it. Does anyone have the info that could help me out?

mike l m
I use Bayou Bullets 225 FP RN 4.3 grs of Clays. Maybe at the top of the chart, runs well in all my 1911 45's. Makes major. Do not know anything about e3. Thanks, Mike
Shadowrider
Start at 4.0 and work up from there. You can use Red Dot data backed off by 10%.
bowenbuilt
I'm getting major with a 230 Blue Bullet at 3.9 grns @ 1.240 out of a 5.5" Glock 21 Tactical. Load it just like clays in .45 ACP. No spikey surprises and no temperature instability problems.
