jakl15 Posted January 9, 2015 Share Posted January 9, 2015 Just got my SDB strong mount today and going to install it the top has 8 holes, but the SDB base only lines up with 4. Are the strong mount for the SDB and the 550/650 the same except for the top plate? And if so, can I order just this top plate instead of having to buy an entire other strong mount? njl Posted January 9, 2015 Share Posted January 9, 2015 AFAIK, there is a 650-only strong mount, a 650/550 strong mount, and the SDB strong mount which is the 550/650 strong mount plus a top plate. On the 550, the press mounts directly to the strong mount, as if the sides of the mount were legs for the press. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
