Garmil Posted January 3, 2015 Share Posted January 3, 2015 Just put together a lone wolf 24 open top slide and threaded barrel with jager 4 port comp on a timberwolf frame. Right now I have a normal length captured stainless guide rod with a 13lb spring that I used in my 22. Is there anything to switch to to make enough difference to worry about? or should I just run what I have? The lage open gap in front of my guide rod has me thinking I should change it. bowenbuilt Posted January 3, 2015 Share Posted January 3, 2015 With the LWD slide you need to stay with the captured guide rod. A full length rod will require a plastic washer in front of the spring to work correctly but will still get moved out of position at times.
