usmc1974
I have a few boxes of Nosler 175bthp custom competition bullets. They look nice but the the tip are not all even. will this give me trouble at long ranges? some are off by as much as .005 Edited December 5, 2014 by usmc1974
Willbas
I have Whidden meplat trimmer I use with my Sinclair L.E. Wilson case trimer and a Whidden bullet pointing die systeam. I trim all my bullets to the same length and then point them this is what I end up with. From what I have read yoy get tighter groups at longer ranges abd better BC. bigbear_98
Check this video out. It's an interview from a couple of years ago with two National team F/TR shooters. They go over a lot of details, but at 12:33 they talk on bullet tipping. Edited December 6, 2014 by bigbear_98
