Bryanbach Posted December 1, 2014 Share Posted December 1, 2014 have an Rock River R3 that I want to swap out the muzzle brake for an SJC Titan. There is a big warning on Rock River's website stating that only they can take the muzzle brake off because it's tuned and ported. The customer service center stated I would ruin the threads by trying to remove it myself. Which doesn't make sense to me. Just curious if anyone has removed their own or if it's really necessary to send it to get it removed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dauntedfuture Posted December 2, 2014 Share Posted December 2, 2014 My buddy took a comp off a RRA upper without an issue. I would chuck the upper in a vice and try to turn off the comp and see what happens, it should come off without too much effort. It might be rock-set or green-Loctite on but I doubt it.
