The LDA top end, of course, is not compatible with a 1911/2011 frame, and the LDA frame has the same issues with standard series 70/80 slides, if I'm not mistaken. spd522 Posted February 1, 2005 Share Posted February 1, 2005 There is always the possibility of slight tolerance differences that may cause the other top end not to fit quite as tight or too tight. But, they probably will interchange. I have a Springfield slide/Barsto upper that I can interchange between my Para P14 and Springfield Mil Spec. The Para started as a gunsmith frame so it has no ramp cut in it. And the other day, I took the upper from my Para P18-9mm single action and it fit and functioned on my friends Para LDA 40 cal frame. The LDA slide won't work on the Single action frame however as the LDA slide doesn't have a cut for the disconnect. Craig Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
