Magsz
Heya guys! I just got in my bayous and this is the first time im loading a 124 grainer at a fairly long OAL. These are the 124 grain round nose with the lube groove. At any rate, my Beretta's chamber is a mile and a half long. At 1.160 i am still not touching the rifling but the bullet is REALLY long and its starting to crowd my magazines. I noticed that the shoulder of the top of the lube groove was OUT of the casing. Is this OK provided the round is crimped properly and does not experience set back? Are these good to go? I have a picture of a round loaded to 1.125. joshxdm9
I load them at 1.160 with 3.2gr of titegroup for steel load out of a xdm 5.25 with no issues at all! Great bullet choice!
DoBell
The thing I really like about 124 grain Bayous is how long I can load them...3.2-3.6 gr titegroup in my xdm 5.25 with the top of the lube groove out of the case, just like yours is. Shoots great. You should be good to go.
