JohnRodriguez
I had a failure to extract last weekend and when I got the shell out, I could see a unburned kernel midway down the chamber. had to use a small screwdriver (tweeker) to get it off the wall. SixShooterPerry
You need to clean the gunk out behind the extractor hook. Even with the FSE you will get the same issues. Mine will do that if I fail to clean it every so often.
PiratePast40
I'm having a little trouble understanding the issue. If the extractor grabs hold of the round, but you can't pull it back without a lot of rearward force on the slide, how can this be the fault of the extractor? I would think that the slide would come back and leave the shell casing in the barrel if the extractor was at fault.
