saibot
I just got a TruBore for Open and was wondering if I could use my SNS 124's in it. I've been using 124 MG with 10.1 grains of #7 to make 9 major. Would the SNS melt under that load or gum up my comp? Thanks all!
kitsapshooter
Reduce you load to 80% of what it is now and the bullets will do fine. I do not know without chrono if the loads would make major. I reckon that is why it is called load development. EkuJustice
I don't know about sns but I know I have used black bullets 115s to like 1550 fps and it works fine.

Have you found them to foul the barrel or comp more than jacketed? Smokier? Thanks!
EkuJustice
Haven't had any more fouling but they do smoke a little more than jacketed
TBeazlie
The Australians have been using coated bullets in their open guns for years.
