barrysuperhawk
I too have completely switched over to Safariland ELS clippies for all of my pouches and shellholders. I run a MLS clip on my holsters instead of the QLS because I have found them more forgiving when you bash them, and they are easier (IMHO) to activate. The only departure is I use a BIANCHI nylon duty belt and inner belt instead of the safariland belt because I wanted the fastex looking buckle rather than those 2 pins. I used a $2 soldering iron to make the appropriate holes for the bolts. The way I arranged things is I started with my holster on my pant seam line, added enough space for one ELS receiver in front of the holster mount and that is where my buckle starts. In practice my buckle sits about where the first belt loop on a standard pair of jeans is. This rig is strong enough for me to hang from without coming off of me.
