pointblanktx
Any pros/cons between the two or is it more of a personal preference as to which to use? Mainly gonna be used in a .38sc open gun. Thanks Derek
houser52
The flat point will cut a cleaner hole and make it easier to score.

al503
Not a huge deal with 38SC but the flat point is usually a shorter bullet. That will increase the case capacity when loading to the same OAL. You may avoid potential powder compression (especially with the bulkier powders) and decrease the initial pressure spike. With all that said, I'd try both and go with what is reliable and more accurate (if there is a difference at all between the two.)
