dkynoch Posted May 29, 2014 Author Share Posted May 29, 2014 Well after much debate and not being able to hit a 12 inch target at 300 like I would like to I broke down and bought one of the new Vortex Spitfire 1x prism scopes. So far it seems way better. The optics are about the same as the Sightron, but the reticle is way better and doesn't cover up as much of the target. Also the Sightron has a fish bowl effect that this Vortex does not have, it just has a nice flat crisp image. I still need to shoot with it at long range so I will report back. I wasn't able to distinguish between those dots without the 3x magnifier. Well that is a little disappointing...
