mike g35
Okay, I admit it, I'm still a Sig newb. I've got my X5 Allrounds trigger where I want it, I installed a 17" hammer spring and SRT kit. I added a new front sight, Dawson FO. But I'm not 100% sure about changing recoil spring weights. My gun has the dual spring RSA, can I use a standard P226 recoil spring on the "forward half" while leaving the lower half, the "buffer", alone? Or does this gun require entirely different recoil springs? And what weight recoil spring do you guys suggest (147gr 9mm, 139pf)?
staudacher
From the factory the X5s do have a spring that has been shortened two coils compared to a standard P226 spring. However the spring tunnel length of the X5 is sufficient to run a standard P226 spring.
