kneelingatlas Posted March 17, 2014 Share Posted March 17, 2014 Are you asking if a .38 Super Gold Team barrel will fit in a .38/9 Limited Custom slide? If so, it will not. The Gold Team is a standard length slide (4.5" barrel) and the Limited side is a "long slide" (4.75" barrel). Adding a comp to a Limited involves some custom work. gennaro Posted March 17, 2014 Share Posted March 17, 2014 (edited) Unfortunately No, a 38 super Gold Team barrel and comp is too short to fit on a Limited slide. Unless you want to machine or cut the slide back to the correct length needed to fit it. However, if it is an older 38 super Gold Team barrel-comp, I think from before the year 2007, I believe those were at the length of a Limited slide manufactured today, and would be a much closer fit, but I'm not 100% sure on that. As for a 38 barrel in a .40 slide, you may or may not have an issue with the smaller brass entering the .40 slide and positioning on the breech face . Someone else here who is running that combination, will be able to better answer that question . The best of luck.
