chp5
I've read the posts on SP and PRP products. I also have an older XD - actually a HS2000 - that Rich at CC did an amazing full-house trigger job on. I now am interested in only shortening the reset on an XDM 3.8 carry gun. I don't want to change the trigger other than the reset and don't want to ship it off. With that in mind, what are my best options? The PRP easy fit kit? http://shop.powderriverprecision.net/product.sc?productId=37&categoryId=3 Thanks. Edited March 13, 2014 by chp5
Powder River
That would be my first choice . Keep the factory springs installed and you should have close to a factory trigger pull weight.

Powder River
The total trigger travel will be about 1/2 the distance it is now. The reset will be reduced by about the same.
xdmfan
That's exactly what I figured and wanted to hear. I contacted PRP a couple of months ago and whomever responded told me I was out of luck. I was going to try their parts other than the springs and see what happens. Now I feel much better.
