Who uses the swage on their 1050 to detect 45 ACP SPP brass?

SPRSkip Could you share what hardware you used to make this?

I'm an electronics guy so I can figure that stuff out. I'm curious on what you used to make the plunger assembly that detects the SPP brass. I'm assuming the size is such that it enters the flash hole on LPP brass. But is pressed down by SPP brass which activates the plunger button which completes the circuit and turns on the light (or buzzer if you wanted). Am I right?

Thanks in advance,

Keith

You are correct. Its just a home made spring loaded plunger that set off both a light and buzzer. I plan to assemble a package to sell along with my other press parts but have not had the time to do it yet.

It has to be adjustable as there is a fine line between a small primer pocket and a large primer pocket with a little carbon build up along with other press adjustments.

All that said it works great.
