Sgtsvi
I have to say that I am gut hooked on USPSA after shooting the Area 4 sectional and last weekends classifier at the Double Tap Ranch in Witchita falls. I find the scoring a little difficult in finding out where I will land in the classification. I was curious if one of you could give me an estimate of where I may be placed. Here are my scores points pen time H/F points % six chickens- 55 10 14.62 3.4992 30.8300 51.38 V-3 60 10 11.12 4.4964 55.3189 79.03 On the move 78 10.17 7.6696 63.2518 79.06 paper pop 49 9.32 5.2575 32.8327 65.67 Here are the scores from the run and gun stages blast path 165 28.09 5.8740 150.2031 88.35 crossfire 168 25.36 6.6246 152.5868 89.76 Overall I placed 8th out of 24 shooters with a combined % of 68.272. I felt pretty good about my shooting for the most part, except for the six chickens stage. I was shooting on par with the B shooters and I was %7 behind the top limited shooter who has a M card. Thanks for any help Dave
Flexmoney
Dave, It takes a touch of math, but... Go look up each of the classifiers in the classifier section here on the forum. Once there, you will see somebody post thier hit-factor...and what that hit-factor came in at nationally. With those two numbers, do some math, and you will figure out the high hit factor for that classifier (in your division). Then, just compare your hit factor to the national high hit factor and get your percentage.
