CZ TS 9mm recoil spring

New to the forum and waiting on a TS in 9mm to come in (next week). Have been doing research on things to tinker with. I have found some information on recoil springs, but its either in reference to .40 or a heavier 9mm than I have access to. It's just the plain jane 115 grain target ammo, for now....

So, I planned on swapping the guide rod out with one from the custom shop, but what recoil spring should I use? Or maybe just use the stock one?

I used the stock one for mine with no issues at all. When I lightened the slide I moved it down to an 8 lb spring. The stock spring is fine as long as the slide isn't lightened and you are using factory ammo.

I too am a new CZ TS owner in 9mm. At first I thought the original recoil spring would be too tight. Have shot 500 rounds through it. Used stiff loads, as well as light loads that wouldn't eve lock the slide back on my 9mm 1911 with a 7# recoil spring. Function with the TS was perfect.

If you are just a plain target shooter like me, you won't need any mods. Even my plastic guide rod still looks good.

Enjoy your gun. I really enjoy shooting my TS. I'm a latecomer to the CZ fanclub.
