TonyK
I don't run lead, coated or otherwise through my feeder die but I hear that many of them do not like lead. Maybe this is a symptom of that issue. What does your feeder use to control bullets being fed? Has it been cleaned? Is is just worn out from use? My RCBS feed die has plastic fingers that do need replacement once in awhile. Might be worth cleaning things and checking the adjustments. I have to adjust things when switching bullet weights due to length changes, are the RNFP's the same length as the JHP that do work? Just some possibilities... DougCarden
Try adjusting the threaded collar depth up a turn or so. That should help it. Keep going up until it wont drop with the case, then adjust it down until it works 100%. Also you want to use some ground up mica powder to dust the bullets so they run through the tube smoothly. Last, if that won't work, then adjust some more tension on the drop spring and see if that helps... DougC
blue edge
As stated in post #1 IT IS CLEAN I also checked for correct adjustment
blue edge
Doug I did move the threaded collar up and back down as you sugested it did not really help I think your thought on adjusting the tension spring may really help Thanks Kevin
DougCarden
With the 40 and 45 dropper you will have to periodically tweak the legs on the spring and add tension. You can email RIck and get some spared ordered as well. It only seems to happen with the heavier bullet weights..... DougC
