Slide lock reload: do u use your strong hand thumb or weak hand?

It's a good habit to use the same technique every reload to develop the muscle memory slamming the mag does not always work so therefore not reliable

I use strong thumb for my reloads but use what feels comfortable with you and stick to it

Now I have to go home and get my 1911 out and think about what I am doing. The good thing with muscle memory is I don't think about it, the bad thing is if I am doing something wrong I don't know I am doing it. At least on my revolvers I know it is strong hand thumb on the cylinder release and weak hand palm to close the cylinder.
