Gavin Melville
Hi, Just got my new S1050 running, and I'm need some advice on clearing it of primers ie. I prefer not to leave primers in the machine between loading sessions. My SDB was simple -- after the beeper went just pick up exactly 3 more cases. That would finish the primers (I check the last round) every time. The 1050 is more complex -- even if you remove the cases from the feed tube you have too many cases in the stations before the primer punch. Is there a simple way of doing this, or am I just better to leave some primers in the machine. dillon
The low primer alarm on the 1050 still goes off with about 3 primers left in the magazine. Just unclip the case feed tube, dump it, then after you cycle the handle three more times, finish those rounds so that they eject. then manually rotate the shellplate counter-clockwise to clear the remaining cases from the shellplate.
