bubba04
I am looking to get set up reloading for the 300 weatherby mag. To date I have only reloaded for my pistols. It would be awesome if I could crank out some accurate roudns out of my 550. Does anyone have any experience reloading the 300 weatherby on the 550 or in general. Also does anyone know of a link to some good info.
Too_Slow
Myself and a friend have had good luck using IMR7828 with bullets from 150 to 180 grain. You can get load info from the Hodgdon website. We both have Mark V Weatherby's. Brian

Too_Slow
I have a set of Weatherby dies and it includes both the FL sizer and the neck sizer. We have loaded with them using both an old RCBS single stage and a 550. If the rounds were only fired from my rifle we can get away with just neck sizing but if they were fired from my friends they have to be FL sized due to the differences in the two chambers so we have done it both ways at times.
