ar15 stock/grip adapter for 1100?

ar15 stock/grip adapter for 1100. is there such a thing and where can one get it?

No there isn't and there won't be one. The 1100 has the recoil spring mechanism in a tube coming out of the reciever that is hidden by the stock. The tube is angled downward. The AR stock adaptors have the stock come straight out of the reciever. For one of these to work you would have to cut off the recoil spring tube and weld it on straight and then hope it will still work.

Neal is correct about a adapter or kit, but there are a number of pistol grip stocks for the 1100, look in Brownells, Cabellas ect. I think if you went to a few matches and watched a lot of shooters and shot a few guns you would stick with the regular stock. Larry

Think I`ll stick with original action/stocks then.

Will the pistol grip come in the way of a speedloader?

Does anyone have link to cutout picture(diagram?) of 1100 and 870 actions? Edit: Been looking for a week and found the pictures 5min after posting here, at Brownells.
