jkcolo22
I found I had to back off the belling much further than I anticipated. The bullet barely sits on the case, but it works just fine. Lots of trial and error, but in the end I got everything to fit nicely. Let us know if you're successful.
edair
I would also check to see that the bullet is not canted in the case. I had that problem with two different sets of dies. A new Dillion solved that. Also, I found the barrel to be the best case gauge.
MichAda
Interesting problem. thanks for sharing. Glad you resolved. Hope its ok to request some expansion on this particular thread (don't want to hijack it). Total newb here, and I appreciate reading info like 'chamber check'...I forget that is not only a good check method, but is a great 'additional' checking for newbs like me. Thing I wonder about would be if the bulge is causing case stress that could ultimately weaken the case leading to a dangerous situation. Even if it chambers well, wouldn't the 'BULGE' be a point of concern for the life of the case?
