Lpa sights

Hi guys

Just got my new lpa rear adjustable sights for my spo1 75 shadow.

Shot it at the range but I can not adjust the elevation high enough also there was no locking screw to lock it into position. I contacted loa and they said that it only had to be drifted and it would stay in place.

Has anyone had the same problem and do I need to change the front sight?

Cheers

Will

Saint,

If you haven't experience with adjustables, start by screwing down the elevation till it bottoms out. Then elevate about three to five clicks. See where your rounds are hitting: If too low, file down the front sight little by little. If too high, you will need to buy a higher front sight...and then file it down. Repeat this till you are hitting where you are aiming. The sight adjustment screws (both windage and elevation) are held in place by detents. The windage placement of the entire sight is held in place by screws under the elevation mechanism. To get at them, you must unscrew the elevation adjustment screw entirely. This will allow you to lift the flap...or whatever it is called.

Hope this is useful
